CABIN
50.733823, -127.521017
The structure is a single-room wooden cabin located in a remote, forested area, North of Port Rupert, showing signs of prolonged abandonment. Exterior logs exhibit weathering and moss growth consistent with long-term exposure. The front door was unsecured upon arrival. Interior conditions were disordered, with miscellaneous personal items scattered across the floor, including empty food packaging, camping supplies, and recording equipment. A small table and chair were present, along with a sleeping area consisting of a thin mattress and blankets. No signs of forced entry were observed. The cabin appeared to have been used intermittently, with no evidence of recent habitation at the time of inspection.

Totem
On November 13, 2001, during continued search activity in the area surrounding the hunting cabin in Black Bear Forest, a carved wooden totem was located approximately fifty feet from the structure. The object was partially embedded in the soil and partially obscured by brush. The totem was photographed in place prior to removal and was collected using standard evidence handling procedures. It was then sealed and logged for analysis. At the time of recovery, no footprints, tool markings, or additional artifacts were observed in the immediate vicinity.
